Congratulations to Gavin McCord for scoring his 1,000th point for his high school career. The Cardinals took the WIN against Watseka with a score of 65-40. Congratulations Gavin and the boys basketball team! Way to go!

Welcome back from break students and staff. We have a busy week in sports and activities this week. Check out the weekly schedule and join us to show your support for our junior high volleyball starting their season Monday at home. What a busy week it is going to be.

Congratulations to Taylor Jones for being named to the all Tourney team at the North Mac Tournament. Taylor has also broken the Chrisman rebound record and will be added to the record board in the gym.

This week at CHS/CSJH

The JH boys' basketball game at Hoopeston has been rescheduled on January 7th at 6pm at John Greer Grade School in Hoopeston.

Even though we are out of school until January 6th, there are still several games going on.

Also, junior high girls basketball players, your uniforms are due to Mrs. Kirby tomorrow, 12/19.

Tonight was filled with sounds of the season as the Chrisman 5-12 bands put on their winter concert.

After consulting with the area Road Commissioners, we have decided it is safer for both students and our drivers to run the snow routes for 12/16. Safety is our top priority, and these modified routes allow us to operate buses on the safest roads available. All Times Are Approximate Route one Rest stop north of Chrisman Pick up 7:10 Drop off: 3:15 Former Camping center storage units (south of Chrisman on Route one Pick up 7:25 Drop off 3:30 Scotland Road/Route 36 (Rock Pile) Pick up 7:20 Drop off 3:20 Scotland Regular bus stop (Methodist church) Pick up 7:30 Drop off 3:30 If your child is in town and needs a ride we will have a bus pick up at the former IGA in town square at 7:45. It is important that students must ride the same route in the afternoon that they ride in the morning. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work to keep our students safe. Please allow extra time and use caution when traveling. As usual, parents may bring their children to school in their own vehicles if they wish. School will start at regularly scheduled times. Come out to the HS gym on Wednesday evening to see all the hard work of both the art department and the band department.

The JH boys' basketball game for Monday evening against Crestwood has been postponed until further notice.

The high school girls' basketball game vs Martinsville will still be at 6pm tonight. Varsity will play first then JV. The JH boys' basketball game versus Crestwood at 6pm will also be played tonight. Practices are up to the coaches, so please check with each of them before the scheduled practice time. Dress warm on your way to the games and practices and we will see you there!

Good evening, Chrisman schools will have eLearning tomorrow 12/15/25 due to cold temperatures and road conditions. Elementary students will complete day 1 of eLearning packets. Junior high and high school students will need to check Google Classroom and email for instructions. Please make sure to check in on TeacherEase by noon for attendance for JH/HS. Stay safe and warm. Evening events will be determined tomorrow.

HS Girls Basketball Theme nights this week will be Monday 12/15 versus Martinsville, come dressed in everything neon. Thursday 12/18 versus Salt Fork will be Christmas Cheer. Come out and show this great group of athletes your support.

As we are finishing up to the last few days before Christmas break, we still have several games and exciting things going on this week. Our daily dress up days are still happening this week Monday - Dress like a snowman, Tuesday - Christmas color war, 8th, 12th - Rudolph Red, 7th, 11th - Grinch Green, 6th, 10th - Staff, 9th - Blue Christmas.
Wednesday - Holiday Character, Thursday and Friday - PJ/Comfy clothes. Watch out for the posting for the tournaments over Christmas break as the HS girls finish the Arthur Tournament and then travel to North Mac after Christmas and the HS boys take on the Holiday Tournament at Kansas.
