The Senior Parade will take place on Friday, May 15 at 5:00 PM. Seniors will be driving throughout town following the parade route shown below.

We encourage everyone in the community to come outside, line the route, wave, cheer, and help us celebrate our seniors as they make their way through town! Let’s show the Class of 2026 how proud we are of them and make this a memorable sendoff ❤️🖤

Note: the parade route will pass by the east side of the town square on Indiana Street and then return to circle the town square before continuing west on Madison Avenue.

JH Softball information.

Last night there was music in the air as 5-12 band presented their spring concert. 6-12 art students showed off their work as well. We have such talented students here in Chrisman!

As we are coming to a close on this school year, we still have a few things going on.

Congratulations to our junior high track team on a great performance at sectionals today.

Good evening. Due to driver shortage, bus 5 (Troy) PM route will not run tomorrow 5/8/26. The AM route will run as normal. If you need assistance in arranging pm transportation, please contact the school. Again we apologize for the inconvenience. The great news is that regular transportation will run as scheduled next week. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding during this process.

This week at CHS/CSJH

It is going to be a busy week at CHS/CSJH as we are winding down the school year.

The previous message contained a typo. The bus service disruption for bus #2 will be tomorrow afternoon, WEDNESDAY, April 22. We apologize for any confusion. Please reach out to Mrs. Escamilla at Escamillam@chrisman.k12.il.us to make arrangements if you are unable to secure alternate transportation. Again thank you for working with us during this time. If you or someone you know are interested in becoming a bus driver, please reach out to Mrs. Escamilla.

🚍 Transportation Notice – Bus #2 (April 22) Edgar County CUSD #6 families, Due to a shortage of bus drivers, we do not have a driver available for the afternoon route for Bus #2 on Tuesday, April 22. We have exhausted our options to secure a replacement driver. If you are able to pick up your student after school, it would be greatly appreciated. If you are unable to do so, please contact Mrs. Escamilla at the Jr. High/High School office to make alternative arrangements. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work through this challenge

Junior high track had a great conference track meet today in Bismarck. They took several top place finishes including the 7th grade boys Medley and 8th grade girls medley which sets a record for the meet. We will also be hosting a meet on Monday at Centennial Park so come out and show your support for this great group of athletes.

Hopefully the weather will cooperate this week for everything that we have going on outside.

Make sure those get submitted asap. Complete the form that Mr. Stokes sent to senior parents & guardians.

This week our co-op track and baseball are in full swing. Check out what all is going on in both the HS and JH. JH track is starting their season this week.

Even though we are on Spring Break all week, sports and activities will carry on.
