Dear Parents,  

As we approach the winter driving season, CUSD#6 wishes to ensure the safety of all children. 

In the event of extreme weather, CUSD#6 has created a SNOW ROUTE as an alternative bus route.  

• If this route is to be used, parents will be informed through the ALERT NOW phone calling system. 
• Students would be picked up only at the four designated snow route stops and the two regular town stops.
• Since roads and visibility will be obstructed, no highway pickups will be made. 
• As usual, parents may bring their children to school in their own vehicles if they wish. 
• School would start at the regular time.
• If the Snow Route is used in morning pickup, it will automatically be in place for afternoon delivery.

The four snow route stops are as follows: 

 Call Mrs. Riggen at 269-2022 with any questions.
