Singles in Agriculture Scholarship (due June 1, 2012)

Must be a graduating senior enrolled in an accredited college, university, community college or technical school and majoring in Agriculture, Agribusiness or Ag-related course of study.

 

Edgar County Retired Teachers Association Scholarship (due June 1, 2012)

Must have graduated from an Edgar County high school, have attended at least one year in a teacher education program, and have not previously received this scholarship. Available in the scholarship file.

 

2012 Psi U Scholarship Grant (Due August 2, 2012)

Applicant must be an incoming male freshman attending the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign who exhibit the highest moral, intellectual, and social excellence. Application is available at www.illinipsiu.com/scholarship-application.

   

Edgar County Bank Scholarship Packet (various due dates)

Scholarship Searches

Remember that there are many online scholarship searches. These can be very helpful, but you want to be careful. Most will take some of your personal information then email you scholarships in which you are eligible. However some sites share your information with colleges and universities. Know where your information goes! Lastly, do not pay for free money. A few sites will require a fee, however there are many that don’t. If you are looking for money, don’t pay for it, or you will be farther behind than you began. Below are some searches:

  Superior Young Producer Scholarship Program (Due July 1, 2012)

Applicants must be 4-H or FFA members who are exhibiting at the state fair in beef, sheep, swine, dairy, and horses. Registration forms may be found on the Illinois State Fair website.

 

State Fair Junior Horse Show Scholarship (Due September 15, 2012)

Applicants must be 4-H or FFA members in their last year of membership and have exhibited at the State Fair Jr. Horse Show at least once in the last 3 years. http://web.extension.illinois.edu/state4h/members/recognition scholarships.cfm.
